Οι Γάλλοι τρέχουν να εμβολιαστούν οι πολίτες πριν τις γιορτές – Αδειάζουν τα self test από τα φαρμακεία

Τα φαρμακεία σε όλη τη Γαλλία αναφέρουν ότι τους έχουν τελειώσει τα self tests για τον κορονοϊό διότι αυξάνονται τα κρούσματα και οι πολίτες προσπαθούν να διασφαλίσουν ότι δεν κινδυνεύουν να μολυνθούν οι αγαπημένοι τους αφού θα συναντηθούν την περίοδο των εορτών.
Χαρακτηριστικό παράδειγμα είναι το φαρμακείο της Μιρέιγ Γκραν στο κεντρικό Παρίσι, η οποία δείχνει τα σχεδόν άδεια ράφια, όπου κανονικά θα βρίσκονταν στοιβαγμένα self tests για τον κορονοϊό.
Εκεί έχουν απομείνει μόλις πέντε τεστ.
«Μόνο αυτά έχουν μείνει. Αυτό οφείλεται στη ραγδαία αύξηση πολλών, πολλών περιπτώσεων ιχνηλάτησης της COVID. Έπρεπε να κάνουμε πολλά τεστ», λέει.
Σχεδόν 5,3 εκατομμύρια τεστ PCR και αντιγόνου πραγματοποιήθηκαν από τις 9 Νοεμβρίου έως τις 5 Δεκεμβρίου, όπως προκύπτει από επίσημα στοιχεία, ο μεγαλύτερος αριθμός εδώ και μήνες και αύξηση 31% από την προηγούμενη εβδομάδα, η οποία ήταν περίπου κατά 38% υψηλότερη σε σχέση με μια εβδομάδα νωρίτερα.
Την τελευταία εβδομάδα του Οκτωβρίου πραγματοποιήθηκαν μόνο περίπου δύο εκατομμύρια διαγνωστικά τεστ, αλλά ο αριθμός των τεστ έχει αυξηθεί σταθερά έκτοτε.
«Έχουν περάσει πολλοί για να υποβληθούν στο τεστ και να βεβαιωθούν (ότι δεν έχουν μολυνθεί με κορονοϊό) για τις συγκεντρώσεις, για να πάνε να δούνε τις οικογένειές τους», λέει η Γκραν.
Η Γκραν έχει παραγγείλει νέα τεστ αλλά η παράδοση καθυστερεί περισσότερο από ό,τι συνήθως, όπως λέει η ίδια, καθώς τα φαρμακεία της χώρας αγωνίζονται για να εξασφαλίσουν περισσότερα τεστ.
Συνήθως εκείνη διαθέτει σε απόθεμα 30 συσκευασίες των 25 τεστ.
Η Γαλλία σημειώνει αύξηση σε κρούσματα κορονοϊού και σε νοσηλείες παρότι, χάρη σε ένα από τα υψηλότερα ποσοστά εμβολιασμού στην Ευρώπη, είναι λιγότερο επιβαρυμένα τα νοσοκομεία σε σχέση με τα προηγούμενα κύματα της πανδημίας.
Στο μεταξύ, ο υπουργός Υγείας Ολιβιέ Βεράν ανακοίνωσε ότι 12,5 εκατομμύρια άνθρωποι στη Γαλλία έχουν εμβολιαστεί με την τρίτη δόση και ο αριθμός αυτός αναμένεται να φθάσει τα 20 εκατομμύρια μέχρι τα Χριστούγεννα.
Αυτό αυξάνει τον φόρτο εργασίας για τα φαρμακεία που ενθαρρύνονται από τις υγειονομικές αρχές να παραμένουν ανοιχτά τις Κυριακές ώστε να μπορούν περισσότεροι πολίτες να εμβολιάζονται.
